Printing Mini-Comics: New edition of Zoe Zeus Book 1, Brand New Zoe Zeus Book 2!
A couple of snapshots of work in progress on the Zoe Zeus mini-comics.
The first image is a followup from how I produced the panels, I penciled them as tiny thumbnails, scanned at 600 dpi, then "inked" it as lineart in Sketchbook Pro. I used Cocopotrace to vectorize the line art, then made panel arrangements and word balloons in Adobe Illustrator.
For the new book 1, the lineart was a different process, but the layout and assembly in Illustrator was the same as book 2.
Both comics will be making their debut at Kids Read Comics!
