Fantasy Forest Sketch

Working in Clip Studio Paint for fun and skill practice, this painting emerged out of a scribble sketch. A quick scribble with the pencil tool gave me a general composition. Then I built it up with groupings of trees, plants, and sky until it felt like a scene. The last part I made it more detailed by switching from a soft brush to a pen and layered some texture for bark and leaves.

The result is a sketch, good for practice. Not planning on taking this image further or turning it into a product.

It feels like forever since I posted.

Now it's been two weeks of posting weekly instead of daily. It's a whole different kind of project. The purpose is the same but the rhythm is slower. Certainly is less pressure and it is giving me way more time to focus on Guitar Fretter.

The week of events in the world. Family adventures and situations. So much happens in a week.
