More Good News About Kate!

So grateful and relieved to share this I could fall over.

Kate had surgery yesterday as is part of the treatment of breast cancer to remove the area that had the cancer then test it. Well all that happened and we have news her doctors have verified Kate's response to cancer treatment is pathologically complete.

Pathologically complete isn't language I thought of commonly before. I like to rephrase it as: Kate is free of cancer!

She has a course of radiation treatment to do as a thorough preventative measure. Grateful for her thorough treatment and how she's fought through and responded to it all. So glad that even though there's more left we're no longer wondering how far she's progressed.

Now I think I'll actually fall over in relief.
